Happy (but hot!) memories of our summer residency at Hereford Cathedral

The ambulatory still coolness of Hereford Cathedral cloister became a welcome break from the sweltering succession of rehearsal and service, rehearsal and service. Did I mention the obligatory pre-dinner gatherings of laughter-filled drinks? Quickly discovered, too, that the altos would easily lead you astray, better than the basses who were lagging a beat behind.

Poor Annie, our Director’s dog, having to suffer an over-hot indoors, listening with finely-tuned springer spaniel ears to our crooked practice attempts when there was a perfectly-kept beautiful riverside garden just outside to enjoy.

Our choir tour in Hereford brought many memories of friendship discoveries, wonderful acoustics, and just a few too many glasses of contentment.
